I've found that hole-in-the wall places that sell inexpensive pizza or by the slice are the best. This place is no exception. The place was wall to wall with locals, the guy behind the counter spoke with an accent I couldn't place, and the pizza was great!

This is a great family owned restaurant located in a dated strip mall located off the Merritt Causeway very easy to find just look for the location where all the cars are parked. Arrived around 7:30 PM on Saturday and this place was packed and loud we had about a 15 minute wait for a table they certainly made every effort to accommodate us as quickly as possible. The staff is very attentive and they completely understand the importances of customer service after witnessing the staff at work I believe a lot of these generous reviews are based on this alone and I agree this goes a long ways but...... The pizza is very very good served up hot out of the oven New York Style thin crust, great sauce and lots of fresh toppings, pepper flakes, garlic and Italian seasoning table side. It's difficult to say this is the best I've ever had but it doesn't matter it's a solid pizza for sure and I would definitely return for pizza and to try a few of their paste dishes the ones I saw being served looked very good and very large portions. If there are any negatives its the garlic knots these are very forgettable hard rolls warmed in a broiler lightly brushed with olive oil and garlic seasoning dipping these in the great red sauce doesn't help. The second was the Coca-Cola was poured out of a two liter bottle it may sound trivial but this is 2014 at least give me my own can if you don't want to install a fountain machine. Over-all a very good experience.

I have been here many times and the guys are great friendly fast and attentive. The pizza is very good and the pricing is reasonable. I keep going back because its the best in the area. I love the meatball pizza the best, one slice does it because the portion is huge.

Gave this place multiple chances to improve their service but to no avail. Stopped going here because it became very obvious you didn't get good service unless you were personally acquainted with the owners or their family. The owners kids ran around unattended back and forth from the kitchen throughout the dining room with no regard for customers. Wives/mothers of said children sat on their asses and never bothered to contain them. Went one night for dinner and had the misfortune of getting the wife of one of the owners as our server. She took our drink/dinner order and we never saw her again. Food was delivered by a different server, had to go to the counter for drink refills and for our check. That was the last time I ever ate there. Ryan's in Cocoa Village, papa Vito's or A NY pizza house on Cocoa Beach much friendlier to customers. Food much better as well.

We stumbled upon Bizzarro Pizza while we were vacationing in Cocoa Beach in October. We are so glad that we did! It is a hidden little gem that you can tell is a local favorite. Loved that fact that it was not a touristy or gimmicky place. The service was excellent and very friendly. We ordered a 24" pizza for 5 of us. It was half bacon for the adults and plain chees for the kiddos. It was so fresh from the oven the cheese did that awesome stringy/gooey goodness when you went to serve it. There was more than enough pizza for all of us. We took several pieces back to our condo and had them the following day. While the pizza is obviously better when fresh, it reheated well. We loved it so much the first time that we went back a second time on our trip. We never had to wait long for a table and everyone at the restaurant was so friendly. They even stopped to talk to us a bit about where we were from. As I said, it was nice to find a place that was local and didn't cater to the tourist set. The pricing was very reasonable. This is a place I would make sure to go back to if we are ever in the area again.

The pizza here is good. You're here for pizza, right? I haven't tried much of anything else from Bizarro's so keep searching reviews. The crust is thin and crispy and they don't skimp on the toppings. The location is medium-sized but it can get very busy which is always a sign of good food. There's nowhere to sit while you wait once it gets busy. My only knock? The garlic knots. They're less of knots than hard rolls brushed with garlic sauce. I've had better knots at other pizza places in town. On a smaller note, the side salad is ok and a bit undersized for the price. Doubt you came here for a side salad though.

Wow - just wow!!!! So happy I stumbled onto this place. I've lived in NYC and consider myself somewhat of a pizza aficionado and I have to say that this is truly one of the best slices of pizza I have ever tasted! Unfortunately for my gut I will now have to come here quite frequently to get my pizza fix. Bonus - the employees who worked at Bizzarro's Merritt Island were also very nice and professional.

I was pretty disappointed....restaurant is pretty dark, musty odor, dirty floors, sticky tables...which I found inexcusable because the place was pretty dead....would it hurt to wipe the tables down in a lull? The pizza was not bad, but I just can't get past the atmosphere. If what I see is questionable...what does it look like in the back, where my pizza is being made? I'm not going back.

Fantastic NY pizza. HORRIBLE take-out service. ....It's a busy place and it shows...no frills if you call in an order....but the pizza is always delicious and consistent. Our favorite pizza on MI......

On the hunt for some local food I used my Yelp app to find Bizarro Pizza. The place is in a dated strip center just west of the Merritt Island Mall. The inside was dark, and I mean, lights off dark. It was also warm and musty smelling. Maybe power issues? We picked a dark corner and seated ourselves. The server helping us started out a little cold but ended up warming up before we left. Let's get the negatives out of the way. Beer selection sucks. Something like Bud, Budlight, Miller Light and some other watered down, mass produced beer. I'm not asking for a lot but how about some Ying Ling or Stella? We tried the Bizzarro Special (see pict) minus the black olives. It came with ham, sausage, green peppers, extra cheese, onions and mushrooms. The pie was heavy, too heavy for me, but my husband must have liked it because he had three slices! I liked the crust but next time would go for something lighter. The ingredients didn't seem very fresh either, things like canned mushrooms and unnaturally round sausage. Are fresh mushrooms THAT expensive? If you are hungry this is your place. The pie was HUGE! And we only got the large, there is an even bigger size! This seems like the place to go for locals, and they must have a lot of repeat business. A big group came in as we were leaving, all of whom seemed to now the owners. I'd give them another shot but attempt #1 didn't blow me away. NOT the best pizza I've had by any means.

They were very busy and the quality of the pizza showed. Sauce, cheese, mushrooms and sausage were clumped in the middle of the pizza the edge of the pizza had areas with over a 2" crust. The sausage was very mild super thin prepackaged and mushrooms were out of a can. Also ordered teriyaki wings that had no sauce on them and were over cooked.

The sausage rolls are amazing AND low priced! Not sure what they use - but the dough is very well made and the ingredients (cheese, sausage, pepper) are quality. When we visit Cocoa Beach and go to Walmart, we grab a few sausage rolls to go and eat them at our timeshare. We had the pizza once also. The owner remembered us from a year ago! Try this place! :)

If you want some amazing pizza, I would definitely recommend this place! The 24" pizza could feed an army. It is filling, the cheese is excellent and the crust is worth eating your way to it. My only complaints would be about the garlic knots. They were dry and hard to eat, but definitely not a deal breaker.

Wow!! What a pizza! This was my first time in after living here on Merritt Island for about a year now and hearing a lot about this place. You can read from the reviews the place is small. That's true. I can see where you would have a problem getting a seat when this place gets going and busy. Luckily for us it wasn't that busy when we went. There were still about 5-6 families in there but plenty of room left. I don't see where people are saying that it so dark. True, it's not blowing you out with LED lighting going on everywhere but, personally, I don't it want to be blinded while I'm eating. There were some lights overhead not working but there is no problem with the lighting in this place at all. The pizza is the main thing here, right? We got the large and were planning on taking some home but WOW! I was able to get 2 pieces down and my girlfriend only managed one! I read another review where the lady said her husband must've liked it because he had 3 pieces and I was thinking what a lightweight he was but now...much respect!! We got the meat pizza and there was tons of meat and cheese. The crust was done perfectly with nothing burned and nothing doughy. Overall, I feel that all of the good things that I had heard about this place were right on. The pizza was perfect and not too bad on the pocket book. I will definitely be back.

Best pizza, family-owned. The slices are huge! The crust is awesome, it doesn't flop like most pizza points. Staff is super-friendly. There's a large seating area on the side that can accommodate big groups. I always come here when I'm in town. If you want great pizza and/or authentic Italian food that is actually made by Italians, come here. See you soon! Ciao ciao

An authentic Italian family owned restaurant. The food is amazing. From the pizzas to the stuff calamari. We have been here many times...my family who lives here has a standing reservation with friends every week...and have tried most of the items on the menu. This past visit we had a half white and half tomato basil pizza with a side of chicken parmesan. Others in our party had what I called an Italian TurDunKen. It was chicken on top of veal on top of something else. Everything is made fresh, so if you have any dietary changes, just let them know. The atmosphere is old world Italy. The staff yells to and from the kitchen in Italian. They will take care of you...promise.

This is the family-owned location, there are other locations, but this location seems to be the original location. Best pizza in Florida? You bet! One of the best pizzas that I've had in years. Get the sausage! Our waiter Donny was the bomb, great humor and great personality. He offered us complimentary garlic knots to try with the marinara sauce...Warm, soft and YUMMY!

I love how this place is truly Italian. All the workers are talking in Italian to each other the whole time. It's a good family place. I came here twice this year and it was good both times. Coming from NY I can say they have some pretty good pizza here; the best pizza I've tasted in all of Florida. This time around I had angel hair and pesto sauce. It was perfect! The staff is so kind and makes you feel like you're part of the family. They should expand because it can get crazy busy for dinner and it's not a very big place.

Our favorite pizza place in the area. These guys make amazing NY style pies and we also love their dinners. The dinner portion sizes are HUGE and most things are $10 and under. Clams marinara w/ linguine is like $11 and it comes with a salad & garlic knots. And it's REALLY friggin good, too! For pizza, their tomato basil pie is outstanding. Or just get a couple slices. You can't go wrong here I think. The guys who run it are entertaining too

There are a lot of Bizzarro Pizza joints around Brevard. Today, I'm writing a review for The Merritt Island location in the old Big Lots/Appliance Direct strip mall. This restaurant has plenty of comfortable seating (around 10 good sized tables, perhaps more). It's clean. Jaunty , efficient, and friendly service. My son and I split a large pepperoni pie. It was huge (probably 18"). Other joints recently started charging "large" tariffs on what used to be "medium" pies. Not Bizarro's. Bravo. The pie itself was perfectly cooked , and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The "cornicione" (edge) was nice and puffy, and the pie was crisp. Right there , I realized that the piemen here "know what they are doing". Recommended .

if I could give it 10 stars I would. and don't be fooled by all the other bizarro's. they're all posers! this is the only real one besides the original in indialantic, and if you have time, please go there and get a white slice--heaven!!! otherwise, do yourself a favor and get a house pie from this bizzaros, this is REAL new york pizza, and I refuse to get pizza anywhere else. I prayed for so long for them to come north and they finally did! yeah!!
